Welcome to Timéa! My name is Agota Gilbride, and I am the heart and hands behind this venture.

 

Originally hailing from the enchanting region of Transylvania in central Romania, my cultural roots are in fact deeply Hungarian. However, I've embraced Ireland as my home for the last 7 years, where I reside with my loving husband and our young son in the outskirts of Courtown, in the beautiful County of Wexford.

 

From an early age, I've been drawn to the tactile artistry of crafting. Whether it's painting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, or even pottery, my hands have always found joy in creation. This passion was instilled in me by my beloved mother and grandmother, whose creativity continues to inspire me to this day.

 

Upon settling in Ireland, I pursued my love for craftsmanship further by undertaking various courses, most notably at the National College of Art & Design (NCAD), in Dublin. As my skills flourished, I found myself drawn to the intricate world of jewellery making, eventually sharing my knowledge by teaching others the art of jewellery making.

 

Driven by a desire to share my creations with the world, Timéa was born. Here, I pour my heart and soul into crafting exquisite and ethereal, handcrafted pieces that reflect both my cultural background and that of my new homeland. Each creation is a labour of love, meticulously crafted to evoke beauty and meaning.
